My husband and I decided it was time to get our basement done. It’s a huge undertaking and just getting quotes is such a hassle. We met with a few other contractors before meeting with RWK so we knew what to expect and what to look for and what to examine when comparing quotes. After James from RWK came out we were instantly excited about this company. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting with James. My husband liked him and he doesn’t like anybody! James made sure we knew that RWK wasn’t going to be the cheapest or the most expensive but the quality of their work is unmatched. We ended up hiring RWK and I’m so glad we did. I couldn’t even imagine going through this construction process with any other company. We were assigned our very own project manager, Jeff, who we absolutely adore! He was amazing and never made us feel like we were asking too much with all of our design changes or when we’d text him at 10pm (haha, sorry Jeff). Jeff was available to us any and every time we reached out to him. He made this 10 week basement finishing so easy and so seamless! Another thing we loved about RWK is the app that they use. The construction schedule is on there so we were able to know in real time who was going to be at the house and when. We’ve had times with other companies (patio builders, fence companies, landscapers, etc) where we had no idea who was coming or when. With RWK it’s all planned out ahead of time and the schedule didn’t change. Everyone was always on time and very respectful of our property. It was very refreshing! Also with the app, we were able to pay our invoices! So easy!

A major home renovation can be scary, especially when it’s a total gut and re-build of our 95-year old house. We approached the project with some uncertainty. Will we get what we wanted? Will they stay within budget? Can we trust the contractors we selected? With Living Home Construction, the answers were ‘YES’. For 8 months the Living Home team worked with us, our architect, and our designer to create our new home. Of course there were bumps along the way… a load-bearing wall removed , fitting all plumbing in a tight space, etc. But in the end, it all worked out.

The best things we can say about Living Home Construction are: They always made it right. The quality of workmanship was high. Our Project Manager was alway accessible and responsive. Their subs were great (we used and/or recommend them even after moving back in). And they stayed within budget (not easy in the current construction frenzy). We have neighbors who had remodeling done and we asked who they used. Premier Remodeling. We asked if they were happy with their remodel and if they recommend Premier Remodeling. All said YES!.
So we decided to go with Premier Remodeling and we are so very happy we did. Ours was not an easy project. We had an old concrete retaining wall that had to be removed without collapsing the floor from above. From the very start we had confirmation after confirmation that they know what they are doing and how to accomplish the goal. They have the resources, knowledge, or sub contractors that can do the projects.
Luke would come up with ideas to save us money without sacrificing quality. It didn’t go as fast as we wanted. Everyone in construction is busy but Premier can push some of them m earlier and not let it keep sliding.
We could NOT be happier about our remodel project. 🙂
